Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream in 13: swatches & review

Hello and welcome back. This time I’ll be reviewing the classic Missha BB cream in the shade 13 (fair with cool undertones.) This BB cream can be purchased from Amazon for less than $10 in the U.S., making it an extremely affordable option.
The tube also contains 1.69 fl. oz. of product, which is well above the standard 1 fl. oz. of the vast majority of foundations.
The shade range is very poor, with only 7 shades. Unfortunately, this is to be expected for a Korean BB cream.

Here are my swatches of the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream in 13:

The formula contains some controversial ingredients, including parabens, fragrance and mineral oil.

The tube is nice, coming with a pump that makes it easy to dispense the amount of product you need.

Shade 13 is an acceptable match for my skintone. I can’t help but feel that it’s slightly too pink; however, once applied, it is virtually undetectable on my skin.
The texture of the product is lightweight. It’s also pretty strongly scented – for me, the scent goes away after wearing the BB cream for a short time, but for more sensitive skin, it may linger.

PROS:
• very inexpensive
• lightweight texture
• good coverage
• contains SPF

CONS:
• very strong scent
• poor shade range
• contains some controversial ingredients

OVERALL: 7.5/10
