Hello and welcome to another makeup review. This time I’ll be reviewing Missha’s new(ish) M Perfect Cover Serum BB Cream in the shade 13, the lightest shade. This BB cream retails for less than $20 in the U.S., making it an affordable option. The shade range is very poor, with only 10 shades (although still slightly better than the classic Missha BB cream in the red tube.) Here are my swatches of the Missha M Perfect Cover Serum BB Cream in 13: Unlike Missha’s classic BB cream in the red tube, this formula is free from artificial fragrance, parabens, and mineral oil. The formula contains beneficial natural ingredients such as plant extracts that nourish the skin as you wear the BB cream. The tube looks luxurious and is pleasant to hold. The formula goes on and blends in easily, with very little streaking when applied with my Rare Beauty foundation brush. The coverage is about medium, and it doesn’t look cake-y or heavy at all, even when applied generously. The formula is also very ligh...
Hello and welcome to another review. This time I’ll be covering the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in two shades: Chantilly (very light with neutral undertones) and Affogato (very light with cool undertones.) This popular concealer can be purchased for $32 in the U.S., making it a higher end option. You can also purchase a mini size for $15 (which is what I have for both shades.) The shade range is good, with 30 shades. Here are my swatches of the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly: Here are my swatches of the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Affogato: I was matched to Affogato at Sephora. Despite this, Chantilly is clearly the better match for my skintone. I will still finish my tube of Affogato until it’s done, using it for spot concealing and Chantilly for brightening. Chantilly is a great match for my skintone. I seriously wish they made an equivalent shade in NARS foundations – the lightest neutral shade, Mont Blanc, is way too orange on me. (I haven’t tried Yulong yet – m...
Hello and welcome to my first review! This review will cover the Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation in the shade 130N (light with neutral beige undertones). This foundation retails for $30 in the U.S., making it a mid-priced option. The shade range is great, with a total of 48 shades. The model for the shade on Sephora looks like a prettier version of me, haha. Here are my swatches of the Rare Beauty foundation in 130N: This formula is vegan and cruelty-free, like all of Rare Beauty’s products. It is free of fragrance, parabens, and mineral oil. Reviews on this foundation have been very mixed – many dislike it and find that it clings to their dry patches. Personally, I haven’t experienced this problem, but everyone’s skin is different. I did my usual skin prep followed by the e.l.f. Power Grip primer with niacinamide. The foundation blended in very easily, and 130N ended up being an excellent match for my skintone. jumpscare warning!!! The foundation has a doe foot applicat...
